North Fork Veterinary Clinic is equipped with a state-of-the-art boarding facility. All dog runs are indoors. They are heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. Each run is approximately 20-30 square feet. Dogs are walked on a 2-hour interval starting at 7 am and ending at 8 pm. Dogs are fed twice daily. There is no overnight attendant at our facility.
Boarding Requirements/Acknowledgements:
1) North Fork Veterinary Clinic will treat all dogs and cats (at owners’ expense) with a flea preventive if fleas are seen during their stay.
2) North Fork Veterinary Clinic requires all dogs to have current Rabies, DHP-Parvo, Influenza, and Bordetella vaccines.
3) North Fork Veterinary Clinic requires all cats to have current Rabies & FVRCP vaccines.
4) North Fork Veterinary Clinic requires all vaccines to be completed no less than 1 week prior to boarding stay.
5) North Fork Veterinary Clinic will diagnose and treat (at the owner’s expense) if your pet becomes injured/ill while boarding.
6) North Fork Veterinary Clinic will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged personal items (Including collars, tags, bedding, toys, etc.).
7) North Fork Veterinary Clinic requires a 50% deposit for all pets boarding longer than 14 days.
8) All dogs must be over 16 weeks of age.
9) All dogs must be well socialized (so that our staff can safely interact with your pet).
